Dortmund vs Real Madrid, 2017 Champions League: Team news, predicted lineups and prediction.
Huge game for Real Madrid
and Borussia Dortmund. While Los Blancos are trying to bounce back from
their disappointing start to the 2017-18 La Liga season, Dortmund need
to regroup after their 3-1 loss against Tottenham in the first game of
this Champions League group stage. A loss for the German side could very
well be devastating, so Madrid should expect a good fight from
Dortmund.
Gareth Bale
is expected to make his return to the starting lineup alongside Luka
Modric. Both players stayed on the bench during Real’s 1-2 win against
Alaves but will almost certainly start this time around. Toni Kroos will also be back with the team as he has recovered from the small injury which kept him out of Reals previous game.
German star Marco Reus is still out with a knee injury
and Christian Pulisic will lead the offensive line with the help of
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
