Chelsea half-time ratings: Azpilicueta superb as Alonso struggles against Stoke City

Had his chance with Cahill on the bench and looked impressive again. Caught out of position once, but really battled hard and won the ball very well. A solid half. 8
Andreas Christensen
Looked calm and composed again in place of Luiz. Solid defensively and even though Stoke had a lot of the ball they didn't have a shot of real note. 7

Cesar Azpilicueta
A wonderful ball over for Morata's goal, his third assist to the Spaniard this season. Did everything right defensively as well and it was a s

uperb first 45 minutes for the captain. 9
Victor Moses
Saw a lot of the ball on the right but did little with it in truth. Defensively caught out a little bit as well. 6



Marcos Alonso
Disappointing on the left and often got caught out of position by Diouf. Attacking as well he didn't do a great amount with the ball. 5
N'Golo Kante
The battery in the middle of the park and was everywhere again. While the other players may have been in second gear, he buzzed around and won possession well. 8
Tiemoue Bakayoko
Dominated the first ten minutes or so, but then lost the ball too many times being tackled. Continued to win the ball well in the middle of the park, but didn't do a great amount with it. 7
